Dr. Michael Forino joined Moran, Rowen & Dorsey in 2004. A Board Certified Radiologist trained in mammography, Dr. Forino currently serves as the Medical Director of Women’s Imaging Center.

Dr. Forino received his medical degree from State University of New York Downstate Medical College in Brooklyn. His Diagnostic Radiology residency was completed at Bridgeport Hospital, an affiliate of the Yale University School of Medicine. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Forino decided to pursue additional training at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C. Dr. Forino was then accepted into the Body Imaging Fellowship at the University of California, Irvine. During his fellowship program, he served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at UCI School of Medicine.

Dr. Forino has held several leadership roles throughout his career. Prior to joining Moran, Rowen & Dorsey, he was the Medical Director of the Imaging and Breast Center at Mission Regional Hospital as well as the Chief of Radiology at Garden Grove Hospital.

When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Forino spends time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys working on classic cars, jogging regularly, and advocating for personal health and fitness.

When asked what drew him to Moran, Rowen & Dorsey, Dr. Forino said, “MRD has a reputation for excellence and collegiality. When I left my practice in South Orange County, I knew that MRD was the only other group I wanted to be in.”
