ANDREW KNOLL, M.D.
Dr. Andrew Knoll joined Moran, Rowen & Dorsey in July 2010. A Diagnostic Radiologist certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Knoll brings breast imaging expertise to the radiology team at Women’s Imaging Center.
Dr. Knoll received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. While at New York Medical College, Dr. Knoll was recognized for academic excellence and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Medical Society. In 2005, Dr. Knoll began his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of California Irvine Medical Center. He later served as Chief Resident for the UCI Department of Radiological Sciences. Dr. Knoll has also completed a mini fellowship in Cardiovascular CT at UCI’s Cardiovascular Imaging Center of Education and Research. In 2010, he completed his Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at the University of California, San Diego.
To stay up-to-date on all the latest technologies and breakthroughs in his field, Dr. Knoll belongs to several local and national medical societies.
Although Dr. Knoll is a native of New Haven, Connecticut, he is happy to now call Southern California home. In addition to a love for the outdoors, he is an avid sports enthusiast. Dr. Knoll enjoys skiing, long distance running, and watching sports. He is a husband and father of two young children. Dr. Knoll is fluent in Spanish, which is great for our Spanish-speaking patients.
When asked why he joined the team, Dr. Knoll said, “I was initially attracted to MRD by the group’s history and reputation of excellence in the community. It is truly a pleasure to have the opportunity to work with our wonderful patients and outstanding radiologists and staff.”
